PennYo Presents: Mamma Mia! Here We YO Again
PennYo is proud to present Mamma Mia! Here We YO Again—our latest show filled with music, laughter, and unforgettable a cappella performances! Join us for an exciting journey as we bring a fresh twist to this legendary story of love, family, and chaos.
Follow Sophie Sheridan as she secretly invites three men from her mother Donna's past, hoping to discover her real father before her wedding day. As Sam, Bill, and Harry arrive, the island descends into chaos, with misunderstandings, old flames, and hilarious antics at every turn. The show will feature a dynamic set list of popular Chinese and English songs, taking you through 7 skits full of dramatic showdowns, touching reunions, and laugh-out-loud moments. Expect high-energy dance numbers, TikTok-inspired choreography, and a mix of medleys, solos, and full ensemble performance!

PennYo Presents: The Greatest YOman
Welcome to The Greatest YOman! Get ready for a night filled with music, laughter, and spectacular performances that you won't forget. Join us as we bring you a journey inspired by The Greatest Showman, blending powerful vocals, vibrant storytelling, and PennYo's signature charm.
While The Greatest Showman provides a lively musical backdrop, we also want to acknowledge the more complex story of P.T. Barnum, recognizing the historical exploitation and discrimination underlying his legacy. Our performance embraces the spirit of inclusion, unity, and respect—values we uphold as a community and group.
The show will feature a dynamic set list of popular Chinese and English songs, taking you through six distinct scenes filled with awe-inspiring harmonies, humor, and PennYo-specific jokes to keep you entertained and engaged. Expect a mix of medleys, solos, and full ensemble performances, as well as our traditional senior song to honor our graduating members. The Greatest YOman promises to be an evening of celebration—honoring our music, our culture, and our talented seniors.

We had the honour to perform at Carnegie Hall alongside many other talented Penn performing arts groups! It was an amazing and unforgettable night for all of us - something that we will treasure for the rest of our lives.

A Pacific Apart: PennYo Quarantunes!
PennYo A Cappella is proud to present ‘A Pacific Apart: PennYo Quarantunes'! It has been a difficult year, with half of our members in the US and the other half in Asia. Despite these challenges, we are determined to spread love and joy by sharing our music with you all.
Instead of our usual concerts on campus, this year, in typical pandemic fashion, we have recorded and produced a virtual concert for your enjoyment! Join us to find out what we've been doing to make our pandemic less isolated!
