PennYo is the premier Chinese a cappella group at the University of Pennsylvania, and the first collegiate Chinese a cappella group in the U.S. Founded in 2002, we've toured around the U.S. and Asia, performing an ever-changing repertoire of songs we select and arrange ourselves.

 

We've covered a variety of artists, from Mandarin rock singers to Cantonese pop stars and even to Korean hit bands and Japanese performers. Our goal is to bring a facet of our Chinese musical culture to the United States, and then to the rest of the world.
